Following last night's announcement, we can confirm that the following areas of the district come under the Leicester Lockdown:

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location:
NARBOROUGH ROAD/FOREST ROAD, HUNCOTE (see attached plan).
The purpose of the TTRO is to facilitate BT Openreach to safely carry out cable repair works.

Over £23,000 of grant funding is available to local groups or sports clubs, ranging from £500 to £4,000.
Grants can help to meet any community group's need, ranging from equipment hire and materials to building refurbishments or upgrades. Grant applications for the third quarter for the 2019-20 year close on Thursday 28 November.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

Community groups and sports clubs across the District of Blaby are being encouraged to apply to the Council's Community Grants scheme to help with their projects.
£90,000 is available during 2019/20. Even more funding has been made available thanks to the money raised through the Love Blaby Lottery and a £2,000 contribution from Everyone Active.
