Return of Result of Uncontested Election

Following the close of the period for registration of candidates for election at 4pm on 3rd April 2019, a total of four applications had been received for the eight possible seats, and the persons whose names appear in the accompanying list stood validly nominated and were duly elected without a contest.

The newly elected Members will be in post for up to four years from 7th May 2019.

Details of the County Council election results are all tallied and confirmed, following yesterday's election.

Cllr Ernie White (Conservative) was re-elected, with 73.2% of the vote for the Stanton and Croft ward, which represents the villages of Aston Flamville, Croft, Elmesthorpe, Huncote, Potters Marston, Sapcote, Sharnford and Stoney Stanton.
