Garden waste collections suspended
Blaby District Council have just issued an announcement that garden waste collections will be suspended for two weeks from Monday (16 November) due to staff shortages as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Delay to further blasting at Croft Quarry
Further to yesterday's announcement, due to the adverse weather, the demolition will be postponed this week,
Once a new date has been identified we will provide an update via the Parish Council website and social media.

Update on further blasting planned at Croft quarry
Aggregate Industries have advised us that the next demolition blast will be Thursday afternoon (27 Aug), weather permitting and all being well.

Demolition work at Croft quarry
We have been informed that demolition work will be taking place TODAY (Wednesday 19th August) at Croft quarry to make way for additional work at the quarry and its continued operation.
Demolition work is going to be carried out between 2:30pm and 6:00pm. The site will have highly restricted access today.
