Local Government Reorganisation

Proposals for devolution and reorganisation across English local government are currently very high on the government's agenda.

Decisions on what the future holds are currently due to be put forward to government by 21 March 2025 with changes being brought in across the next few years.

There are currently three different proposals for Leicestershire, with nothing yet guaranteed.
