Leicester Lockdown revisions

On 16 July 2020, the Secretary of State, Matt Hancock, announced changes to the local 'lockdown' boundary. This affects residents who live in the city of Leicester and the borough of Oadby and Wigston from Saturday 18 July.

Restrictions outside of these areas will begin to change from Saturday 18 July, when the lockdown boundary is revised

A map has been published which provides further detail. Inside the red line shows the area where increased restrictions are in place (click it to view full size).

Details of the increased restrictions for Leicester and parts of Leicestershire are available on the County Council website.
