Following last night's announcement, we can confirm that the following areas of the district come under the Leicester Lockdown:

Lockdown measures increased in Leicester
Stricter lockdown measures have been announced this evening in Leicester and surrounding areas because of a rise in coronavirus cases in the city.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock said non-essential shops will shut on Tuesday, and schools will close for most pupils on Thursday, within the affected areas indicated.

Plans to ease guidance for over 2 million shielding
Millions of people shielding from coronavirus (COVID-19) will be advised they can spend more time outside their homes from Monday 6 July, the Health and Social Care Secretary has announced.

Coronavirus cases in LLR
As at 18 June there were 2403 lab-confirmed cases in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR). 406 people who tested positive with coronavirus have sadly died in Leicestershire's hospitals (University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and Leicestershire Partnerships NHS Trust).
