Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to the Temporary road closure of the above location.
The closure is required from either side of the M1 bridge.
The road will be closed from 21.00 hours on 5th March 2018 to 05.00 hours on 6th March 2018
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced to safely allow Highways England carry out works to the M1 Bridge spanning the road.

Following a review of the Countywide grass cutting operation, the maintenance of highway verges within in our Parish now falls under the responsibility of Leicestershire County Council.

A new inspector has taken over as commander of policing across the Hinckley and Blaby Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA).
Inspector Emma Maxwell brings 18 years' policing experience to the new role after joining Leicestershire Police back in 2000.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that our County Councillor and much respected resident of Stoney Stanton Mr Ernie White passed away peacefully at approximately 5.30pm on Tuesday 2nd January 2018. He will be sadly missed.

A new defibrillator was delivered for the village on Friday 22nd December, for installation at Main Street Garage.
As the garage will be closed for the Christmas period, a decision has been made to temporarily locate it at Alexandra House.
