About

The Enderby Wind Band was established in September 2005.

A traditional wind band format, we cater for all wind and brass instruments and our range of players currently includes Clarinets, Flutes and Piccolo, Saxophones, Oboe, Bassoon, Trumpets, Cornets, Horns, Euphonium, Trombones, Tuba and a Percusionists.

The band attracts a wide range of players of all ages and abilities who share a passion for playing music together.

Maybe you used to play an instrument at school or university and haven't played for a while, or you're playing now and want to play in a group. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and inviting bunch who enjoy playing music together, helping each other to develop as well as enjoying social outings as well!

Our players pay a monthly subscription (£5 if you're in education, £10 if you're working) but we don't ask you to pay straight away - if you'd just like to come along for a couple of rehearsals and see if you like it you'd be more than welcome.

Each year the band performs at many venues and events across the county. You can find the current list of concerts and events on the events page. If you would like the band to play at an event for or near you, please let us know!

If you think that this would appeal to you then please get in touch via email: enderbywindband@hotmail.co.uk. The band rehearse every Wednesday in the Enderby Village Institute from 19.30 – 21.30.
